Late delivery of house and charging of 18% interest for late payment

It is approaching two and half years since Brigade asked us to pay 85% cost of a 60lac house and while there is a huge delay in delivering the house and pay nothing for this delay, they continue to levy 18% on any delayed payment.

This single sided agreement is presented to us only after we make the 15% initial payment; so we are forced to agree these terms and conditions otherwise we loose 15% of the initial payment. We need to regulate this approach by real estate developers and ensure fairplay.
