Builder constructed one extra floor without approval
Not able to sell my apartment

Hi,

I have purchased an apartmentin ground floor in 2006 (Vizag, AP) and have taken loan from IDBI bank and now when I am trying to sell my apartment I am facing lot off difficulties.

I got one buyer who is interested to buy the apartment and he approached to IDBI bank (Same bank where I have taken loan) said they will not be able to give loan as building approval (muncipal plan) is not sufficient as the builder constructed one more extra floor which doesn't have any approval.

I am now in totally in hopeless situation as my apartment has buiding approval still I am not able to sell it and when I took the loan from IDBI they have not raised any such issues... otherwise I would not have purchased from that builder.

Please let me know how to proceed further on this and what actions I can take against the builder and the bank
