Brief of our case - We have been staying in a house since last 44 years and we have been paying regular rent. We have paid our rent till last March.
We would like to know how is that a Private land is suddenly converted into an SRA.
We have filed with RTI for information and we have received a reply wherein it is mentioned "It may be stated that the layout for the scheme is not yet approved by SRA"
If it is not yet approved under SRA, how is it that the builder had started the construction and gone upto 6th floor which is illegal.
We have not yet signed any agreemet as we are having an area of 500 sq.ft. and the builder is ready to give only 269 area in the building which he is constructing as per per SRA scheme. We are demanding a flat under Private construction with equivalent area that we have. Now he is asking us to vacate our place.
Are we not eligible for a flat with equivalent area in Private building as it is clear from RTI filing that it is not yet approved under SRA.
We need your help and guidance in going further.
