Delay in completion of Meghamalhar Building

Hi,

I had booked 2BHK flat in MeghaMalhar DSK vishwa last year in June. At that time the building was said to be 85% complete and i payed that much percent of the cost of the flat. The completion date in agreement is December.

The work is going on at snails pace. I payed another 10 % amount in february and waiting since then.

After lot of phone calls and a complaint letter the builder has finished work inside the flat. But the building in itself is not complete. The lift is not functional. No electricity meters installed. Labour work is still going on in upper floors of the building. Also none of the amenities documented in the brochure are complete.

Now the builder is claiming completion and demanding the remaining 5%. They have provided me letter of completion by a gram sevak to get the amount from SBI bank where i have loan account. No legal documents or completion letter from any DSK engineer or lawyers is given.

They have agreed to provide electricity at commercial rates to me.

I am staying in rented flat and i am forced to shell out rents as well as the EMI on loan. DSK does not want to payout any penalty for their delays. I dont know what i should do now.

Such is my experience of DSK developers which i would like to share with anyone. These ppl are demanding premium price with no accountability what so ever.
