In Chandigarh, thousands of students come every year for studies from HP, JnK, Punjab, Haryana and even further more states.

Recently Chandigarh Police under the directions of ESTATE OFFICE (CHANDIGARH) did a survey of Houses who accommodate these students. Some on rent and some as PG's. The 7 Marla houses have been ordered to stop providing accommodation to STUDENTS and single WORKING people.

Could somebody ask the authorities, what is the logic behind this move.

Where would all these students find a place to live if not in these houses.

Where is the accommodation for these students provided by Estate office and Educational authorities,

Instead of taking care of more critical issues like Drugs, Pan -Biri vendors at every road corner, unauthorized Rikshaws, Autos plying the roads, where are the authorities on this issues dong, Sleeping i guess,

So kindly somebody inform the ESTATE OFFICE CHANDIGARH to make soem sensible decisions and not vague once which harm the general public
