I had booked one flat by giving a token of 51, 000 Rs. and committed to him that will make full payment to him within one month. I had made a commitment on the basis that the day on which the flat agreement is available and registration will be done i will make the payment. But after a month, builder told me that his father had expired and was ready to make the agreement on his Power of Attorney given by his Father to him. Since it was not correct to do the agreement on Power of Attorney we requested him to make fresh agreement but now he is asking us to pay the Total Amount based on fresh rates.

Kindly guide me what to do.
