I am a person of Indian origin holding a foreign passport. I want to sell my property in mumbai and applied for an NOC from my society. The society has issued me with a certificate, however, they have stated several clauses in it. One says that their records show that no stamp duty was paid by me or my predecessors. However, I have written to them today enclosing a copy of the paid stamp duty. Secondly they have pointed out that as per the plans they have my boundary wall needs to be demolished because this does not exist in the original plan (although no one has said anything for the last 18 years). I have asked them to provide me with the aforesaid plan. I think they are just trying to harass me because I don't know the laws (or so they think). All my dues have been paid till date. could you please advice? Thanks
