Property Encroachment

Hi,

This is regarding a property which we had purchased about an year ago. The property is basically a Waqf board property and hence the property is on lease hold basis.

As it is a Waqf board property, while purchasing papers were made from 'Patwari' and the seller had also given some receipts. However the papers were not registered with Wakf board for the lease payment which was a miss from our side.

Now a person has encroached upon the complete land by conspiring with 'Patwari' and making duplicate papers of the property. The person has also registered the papers for paying lease to the Wakf board. He has placed some 9-10 goons (gundas) on the property. We also tried to contact police but it seems that they are also conspiring with them.

This is a kind of open banditry. Please let us know what is the possible way out as we are very much worried.
