Service Tax & VAT for construction

The Indu Projects is developing a gated community in the name of "Indu Aranya" in Nagole near Uppal Hyderabad. They are charging service tax for the whole apartment cost. But as per GO " Cir No D.O.F.No.334/03-TRU dt 1.1.2010", NO SERVICE TAX IS PAYABLE FOR PAYMENTS MADE ON OF BEFORE 30 JUNE.

Apart from that they are demanding VAT, Which is not applicable for construction.

They also demand Rs30000 in advance as annual maintenance charges. This much cost for a new construction after the collection of Rs50000 as corpus fund is a clear act of Cheating.

Many individuals booked apartments in this projects written many mails to the manamgement. But they are not responding.
