Hi,

I have purchased a flat in 2nd sale in Year 2008. This flat is around 8-10 years old. I am having mossaic flat. Due to quality of mosaic, it is damaged now. I want to refurbish it by applying marble in it in place of mosaic. But our propmoter is disturbing me and has stopped my work saying that I have to take permission from society as well as Kolkata Municipal corporation. I approached Kolkata municipal corporation. KMC officials said that no permission is required for internal modification.

I wanted to know that whether interference of Promoter is legal? If not then how should I deal with him?
