I purchased a flat from Mahagun India Private Limited in Crossings Republik, Ghaziabad on 2009. Possession was due maximum by 31-Dec. Post that builder was supposed to remit @ 5/- per sq ft. per month. For Jan-Apr months I received the cheques. In September, I received a letter from the builder about to pay pending payments that I need to pay at the time of Possession that committed by the Marketing executive while time of buying the flat and same thing committed by the Nidhi (dealing officer @ Mahagun corporate office) and also same Possession date they mentioned on the agreement letter for the pending payment. But now they are saying you have to make the payment on same date (Possession date which decided at the time of buying of flat) which mentioned on agreement and they will not able give you Possession date. Actually here dates are contradicted. Builder have to update the final payment date as per Possession date but here builder is playing the game with emotional public which has dream to buy the one home in NCR.
I believe public need to go consumer forum and register the complaint against the builder. If anyone have other option, please let me know.
One more thing when I went to the Mahagun corporate office to discuss the same thing, I found there are lot of family are sitting they have already paid the complete amount for his flat. In that case also builder is not ready to pay the penalty cheques. I also found few families that got the Possession letter but flat are not ready as per commitments.
How I anyone can believe the Mahagun India Private Limited in Crossings Republik, Ghaziabad?
But one thing is sure, it is a very bad experience and I do not look at Mahagun as a good builder or someone whom I can recommend to my friends.
