Not refunding my money (!!! HOLDING BACK MONEY!!!)

I had purchased a plot from ABS Land Development & Construction Pvt. Ltd. However, due to delay in delivery and no update on progress from their end, I decided to cancel my booking and get refund of my money. The proposal was accepted and I was handed over cheques by the organization to refund my money.

However, the first cheque I deposited in January bounced and despite repeated followups with Mr. Tapan Kumar Ghosh (MD) and Biswajit Bose, I have received no positive response from either one of them. Most of the time my phone goes unanswered and despite repeated SMS and

followups neither one of them seems to be even bothered to return my money.

Two more cheques provided by them are due in February and March and I will not be surprised if these ones end up bouncing after submission.

This is extremely frustrating as this is my hard earned money and with myself living and working in Delhi, it is becoming extremely

difficult to recover money from this organization.

I request proper suggestions from Consumer Protection Act. Also, I request auditing into their finances as from my experience in dealing

with them, I would not be surprised if more people are being haressed in similar manner and their funds are being held back. I can be reached at pinaki29uk@gmail.com

I have found a huge number of complaints against this organization in consumer forum and wonder "WHY NO LEGAL ACTION IS BEING TAKEN AGAINST THEM? "
