Cancellation amount for Apartment not refunded

I paid rupees 1 lac towards booking amount of flat 1210 (florentine, in Imperial Heights). Due to some unforeseen circumstanaces i had to cancel it - i was told that i will get my money back. But it has been 8 months of non-stop visit to the company and the officials.

They say that it will be given but there is no action taken instead of my repeated visits. I have not signed any sort of agreement where it was mentioned that the initial amount is not returnable.
