When I was booking a Flat in Future towers I was told that the stamp duty will be 1% of the flat value. I actually have the estimate calculation with me when I made the booking. this was on 18th february.
At the time of registration I was told that the stamp duty is 4%. They give reasons that the government has changed rules etc. But I believe Amanora is well aware that the stamp duty is 4% and they Purposely told me that it is 1% for committing me to buy.
I have spent close to 1.5 lakhs extra due to this and this was informed to me last miunte and had to go through enormous amount of stress to arrange the money.
