Sir,

Fun Time is a recreational zone at CMR Central, Maddilapalem, Vizag. A person is supposed to purchase a rechargeable card in order to swipe it at the desired funzone in order to purchase ticket. There was no pamphlet with the rate per ticket at each fun zone. I was visiting, CMR Central for the first time. Not knowing the rate, I recharged the card with Rs.700.00 (the pamphlet showed to me only contained the top up rate). After using the card, the balance remaining was Rs.100.00. When i enquired about the refund of the amount, the lady at the reception showed me a board, hanging from the ceiling stating "Money Not Refundable".

As a Customer / Consumer, i want to throw light on the following areas where the company failed to entertain me my rights on Information

1. There should be a pamphlet in the desk with full details of ticket rate against each fun activity instead of printing "You Pay Rs.100, You Get Rs.110" kind of chart with different rates on both sides.

2.The company did not display "Money not refundable" at the counter itself so that buyer may be aware. People will not search every nook and corner of the room for any left out terms and conditions which are not given in the pamphlet.

3. The rechrageable card also contains the term "Money not Refundable". But what use will it be when the rechrageable card is bought and money already paid.

4. The company should think of innovative ways of marketing instead of trying to forcibly make the customer use the card again for utilising the full amount of the card. Usually consumers are satisfied only when the money spent is fully utilised. The above method leads to forcing the consumers.

5. People do not wish to stand in queue to recharge again and again. Recharging with higher amount facilitates them. At the same time refunding also shud be there.

The amount paid is not an advance for the company's future sales.

here are many other companys like food court which have similar rechargeable cards. At least they maintain a decorum by offering refund which is hassle free.

Fun Time should also follow similar rules in order to make it consumer friendly.
