Wrong billing

I purchased few items from Easyday Store at Phase-2, Dugri Ludhiana on 26.10.2011 at 13.36.26 for Rs.494.90. One of the items were Kurkure Diwali Gift Pack where about 20% discount was being offered. The packet that I purchased was being offered @ Rs.88.00 against the printed price of Rs. 124.00.Even one of their salemen showed us the packet and advised about the price also. But when I checked the bill, which I rarely check believing that such big and reputed stores donot indulge in cheating, I found that MRP i.e. Rs.124.00 has been charged from me. After about a week, I contacted the Manager of the store and showed him the discrepency. Though he admitted that Kurkure packet was being sold @ Rs.88.00 but flattely refused to do any thing pleading that I was supposed to check the bill & contact him on the same day. Such attitude is not acceptable. Here the question is not of a small amount of Rs.36.00 but the way being adopted by the store to charge extra amount from the clients and pocketing huge sum that accumulates from such small overchargings which the customers never check.

Such unethical practice must be checked thoroughly and stopped immediately.
