MY EMAIL SENT TO SBI CARD FOR FILING A COMPLAINT
Dear Assistant Vice President and Respected Authority,
My SBI Card No.- ************6268, card expiry date – 2012. I have several issues against the card service.
I tried to contact the Customer Care Service at 1860 180 1290/ 1800 180 1290 several times but could not, due to some network problem.
My issues are:
I get certain product promotion calls from the credit card division which are useless in my sense. Even they pressurize me to take that promotional offer.
A similar kind of call was made last month for the promotion of a Dining Plus Card. I received a call from your card division on 19/10. The executive pressurized me to avail the offer, but I refused. He tried to convince me that to take that offer I do not have to pay any money until I use that card and the accompanying vouchers and gave me an authorization code: 071719. But in my true sense, I refused openly to that offer.
Despite my refusal, he confirmed that order, which was reflected in the next month statement as well as through a gift parcel which was delivered to my residential address containing several travel vouchers, a Reebok watch and a Dining Plus card, with a total worth of 4999.00 INR.
In the next statement, dated 8 November, I received an outstanding of
5509.00 INR against EBL Club leisure – NAVI MUMBAI IN.
I am making it clear to you that I will not pay this amount in any case because I didn’t order it and your customer care executive, for his own benefit have done this blunder.
I didn’t even use those vouchers and the watch and even that dining plus card and the box is kept unused. If you can arrange anyone from your service division to take that box right away, you are welcome.
Again, I am making it sure to you that I will not pay a single penny against this useless transaction.
Please do needful to withdraw this transaction from my card, or I will be bound to withdraw my card from your service and will go to the Consumer Court for further action.
Hope you will act immediately.
