I have been with Reliance since they started in the US. But when I saw the trueroots ad on TV in between showbiz India I decided to give it a try - after all who wouldnt fall for their rates and all their promises.
To begin - their website is so slow to load - it takes FOREVER - it makes me feel I am using a dial up connection in the 90's (from India). I opened an account yesterday and even signed up for pinless dialing. I thought I would put it to test this morning - on dialing their tool free # it asked for my PIN! dang... didnt I sign up for pinless dialing?? Of course! So I opened my mail to see what the pin was (I thought maybe it didnt work) I called again, typed my PIN (btw its 12 digits). "Sorry you have entered a wrong PIN!! ". I went ahead and used reliance to amke the call... then I logged back into my truroots account - to see why this happened. Lo and behold - the Pinless dialing was blank - nothing was saved... OK maybe I didnt save it! So I typed in everything again and saved it.

After a long wait the page finally said "Account Info has been updated". Great! So I went back into my account to check - it still shows blank! I am really frustrated with them - how can they spend so much advertising it when they cant even provide the service they are supposed to provide. If it had been in the US I could call and cancel and get y refund - I guess they are just trying to foo peopleand get their money..and yes, the account is active for a year..then if it is inactive for 3 month, it goes dead!! yeah yeah..so that you can take our money and run. I am also reporting this to inconsumercomplaints.com... everyone should know about this - TRUEROOTS IS A RIP OFF!! STAY WITH RELIANCE - AFTER ALL WHO CAN BEAT THEM... I SHUD'VE KNOWN THAT!!!
