Airtel sim recycled without intimation

Myself sachin s raikar, a loyal customer of airtel since last 6 years and my number is 9890847334 which got recycled without intimation.

Due to some urgent work, I came to london in first week of janauary 2011 and I carried sim with me.

When I enquired about my sim expiry and cancellation before coming to london, airtel customer care executive said me that sim will not be cancelled unless I use it once a 4 month or within a month of validation expiry

I was using that sim for almost a month after coming to london but didnt call or receive any number. I used to get messages on that sim number till febuary 2011.

Now I have validity on that number till june and my last use was febuary 2011 but still my number has been cancelled and is give to some other person.

When I tried to use my airtel number (9890847334) in april so that my number will be in use atleast once in a two month and will not get recycled, at that time my airtel sim was showing me as invalid

I got to know all this when I asked my sister to ask this to airtel.

Even I call them up and also mailed them with my problem but they are not ready to answer any mail. even i mailed to a nodel officer of airtel still she is not giving a valid reason for recycled sim

Please help me with this issue as I have many of my contacts on that number and if I dont get it I will be in a hug difficulties
