Delay/ Apathy in Local transfer of existing connection

Sir,

I have an existing broadband connection from bharti airtel. The telephone no. is 011-47640867

On 8th Sep 2011 I have shifted my residence Sector 18-A, Dwarka, New Delhi 110075 to Sector 22, Dwarka, New Delhi 110075

On the same day, that is, 8th Sep 2011 I had made a request (Service Request No. 3701820) for transfer of my connection to my new address.

I was promised that this would be done in 10 days. Later on inquiry the call centre attendant informed that the feasibility study had been completed and that their was no difficulty in complying the request.

On expiry of 10 days, on 19th Sep 2011 (Request No. 4276938) I contacted the nodal officer Broadband Services NCR for broadband services and I was informed that the somebody will contact me the same day regarding the shifting. No feed back was given to me and neither was the job done despite assurance from nodal officer.

On 20th Sep I then contacted on telephone the Appellate officer Broadband services NCR who assured me that she would look into it and give me a feedback. She accepted that there had been a delay and that she would inform me of the progress. Despite repeated request she refused commit on a time frame in which the required task would be accomplished. No feed back was given to me.

On 21st Sep I again managed to contact the appellate officer who again made a vague promise but has failed to followup.

I further wish to state that I have made advance payment as the last bill I paid on line deducted the amount from my credit card twice.

I request that my connection be activated at my new residence within a period of 48 hrs failing which you may terminate my connection and refund the balance due to me

PS: I wish to bring to your notice that the local agency that you have outsourced your service responsibility to, has advised me to subscribe to a new connection as there was little chance of my getting the transfer for a few months. The appellate may respond and tell me if it is indeed the company policy to sell new connections by making transfers difficult.
