Troublesome and Pathetic customer service

In August we called customer care regarding shifting of house and telephone services and we were told that it will be done in 7 days. After 13 days still no call so we called again and they ensured us that it will be done in 2 days. After 2 days still no call so we called and requested a disconnection of service. This was noted on the 8th of September by the operator and were ensured that it will be done in 3 days. We left the house and moved elsewhere and decided to take Air tel services in the new house and immediately an agent showed and money was paid but no connection even after 7 days. We then changed to a different provider.
The calls from the call centers keep coming in for payment when we have not even been using their services since September and these calls have not stopped till date. We are tired of explaining that we are no longer their customers and to please check their records and stop calling us. We speak to so many operators that we might have explained it to all present in the office.
This has got to stop as its becoming a mental torture and affecting our lives.
