Incorrect Billing (Mobile # 9871168536)

Incorrect Billing (Mobile # 9871168536)- I took a new Airtel mobile connection on 3rd Feb and opted for the GPRS facility with 299 plan in which I am suppose to get 300 MB worth of data downloading every month for free. However when I received the bill for the month of May-10, I was surprised to notice that I have been charged Rs 822 for GPRS. I called the customer care and discovered that my GPRS plan was changed on 16th of Feb without my consent. I have been charged the following charges for my GPRS since 16th of FEB.

In March-10 bill - Rs 831.60

In April-10 bill - Rs 877.80

In May-10 bill - Rs 822.00

Total &&- Rs 2531.40

I have also logged the complaint with your customer care department reference number 680723430 and have spoken with your representative name DEEP on 2nd May 10 who confirmed me that the problem has occurred due to error at Airtel system goof up. I never given any request for any kind of change of plan to your company.

I wrote mail to your 121 email id and nodal officer e mail id 02nd may and was given a reference number 32112887 and confirmation team will reply me with resolution by 05 May. Then I spoke to your Nodal Officer, Ms Poonam on 20th May but it’s all in vein instead even after her confirmation that I will get resolution on this issue I have been receiving calls from your payment collection department. She understood my problem and she also confirmed that it’s not my fault but still she refused to give reversal of the amount and wanted me to pay the outstanding due.

Again I sent mail to your appellate.del@airtel.in id on 09th June but still no one has reverted or listens to me.

I faxed them the all deatils on 23.06.10 on fax # 9810498104 but I have not recd any reply from them. I have the recieving of fax also. Now they have diconnected the connection made the bill around Rs 5500/- (approx.). I am not going to pay them anything as I have been following up with them and they are not giving any resolution but harrassing me by making collection call
