Dear Sirs,
Could you please explain why I have my original cell phone (98310 85628) deactivated?
I have been requesting you, for the past 4 months, to send me a final settlement letter on my 2nd airtel postpaid connection (97484 25628). What I receive is a letter that is valid for payment upto 20th Aug and email was dated 21st Aug. The ironical fact is that the delay was due to misspelled email ID even though I receive my statement on the same email ID every month. I wrote to you guys immediately and in response I get my original connection of 11 years deactivated without any warning sms.
I find this totally unacceptable and unprofessional. All I need is a valid settlement letter and my original phone restored.
Regards
Sujoy

Dear Sir,
This is a followup on the letter I wrote to you on Saturday after the absurd 'settlement letter' you sent me. I thought I should refresh you as regards the facts of the case
1. My wife uses the cell phone number under discussion
2. She was in Sri Lanka availing of your roaming facility
3. While she was still abroad airtel customer service requested a payment to be made because her roaming charges had gone over her credit limit of 11, 500/-
4. Made payment immediately for Rs 7K as requested by airtel
5 Next bill showed the roaming charges and total bill amt was 9397/-
6 Requested customer service for ability to pay in two parts and they agreed. I paid Rs. 5k then
7 Meanwhile line becomes one way and due to inconvenience had to get another connection
8. Requested to customer service to convert to pre-paid and settle bill
9. No response from airtel regarding conversion
10. then after 2- 3 months someone requests my email by sms on 17/08/10 (sima 9903122062)
11. Call from Airtel on 19/08/10 regarding email sent - I informed that no email recived that they should simply copy email ID sent by me to sima 9903122062 earlier
12. Email eventually reaches me on 21/08/10 that gives me three days from 18/08/10 to 20/08/10 to clear my dues.
Somehow I think there is a lack of seriousness to resolve this issue and would like your intervention in the matter

Dear sir,
It seems that you are not aware of what you are sending to me. The letter attached gives me three days to make a payment, between 18/08/10 to 20/08/10, whereas your email is dated 21/08/10. In effect the offer for settlement is void ab initio.
Also, please keep in mind that this letter took you guys 4 months to send after repeated requests. All this while I was willing to pay all charges for the period ending 2/Mar/10. I have no intention of paying charges for delay on your part.
Please ensure that you send me a revised letter or I would be forced to move this legally myself.
Regards
