I am using BSNL LL service since long. In recent months, I've observed poorest service of BSNL. In the month of February, our phone got dead (out of service) from 3rd February to 28th February. Despite repetitive complaints, no action was taken until I approached to CGM office. SDOP of Bopal area acted gross negligence, even he did not care to receive mobile phones calls which is provided by BSNL. Ultimately, he had to come to home when a pressure call came from CGM office.
Now after resuming service on 28th February, once again my Land-line got dead (out of service) once again from 13th April. Till date (09th May) services are not been provided. I registered computerized complaint (No. RA005831522) on the same day (13th April). SDOP of Bopal area is in the same behavior as he is not picking up any calls from customer... BSNL Area Manager office is also unresponsive or their actions do not reflect in result. I called to CGM office once again, but this time they are also not helping. BSNL still consider itself a government body which is no longer the fact but acting as it. On the other hand, Minister for I & B asking GM of BSNL for their action plan to get BSNL out of loss. It is necessary for BSNL to go to the basics first, Provide services (forget best) & later plan out for development. VRS or compulsory retirement should be enacted to those who are not able to do their work equivalent to private firms...
Now out of 90 days, Land-line is out of service for 60 days, however monthly bills are very regular as if they are providing services. On the other side, we have to file an application to reimburse monthly charges during period on deactivation of services. This is not the proper way, they are having computerized complaint services from which they can confirm deactivation of services and through this they can directly waive off monthly rental.
Having known case of above scenario, please guide me what legal remedies I'm having as a consumer & what I can do to get my Land-line service back within a couple of days... I thanks in anticipation...
