Donot disturb facility

I have registered for donot disturb facility with my bsnl service provider.

they had told that within 45 days it will be activated.

but after 3 months also i am getting all those customer messeges.

i complained about that and asked how many days it will take to be activated? they said they cant say the time.

i want to ask if there is no such strict time limit to the service to be activated then what is the use of that thing.
