BSNL Landline
Phone is not working

This is with reference to my landline no 0832 2272194. The phone is not working since the last 2 weeks. I have complained a no of times and have even visited the telephone exchange in Siolim and yet no action is taken. When I visited the telephone exchange around 10 days ago, they tell me that the concerned person has met with an accident. If this is the level of service, what is the use of this telephone exchange. Is BSNL a money minting racket for the government. I am sure in case, a person defaults on the monthly bill, the authorities will make that person suffer by disconnecting the telephone line. But what option does a person have when a phone is dead and un-usable and the authorities just do not care a bit. I live in a remote location called Maina-Sodiem and the mobile signals are very poor and that's the reason my parents have to depend on the landline. However, we are not benefitting at all from this phone. How much time does it take for a phone to be repaired. BSNL is nothing but a scam
