Landline not working past 2 months

Landline number 0469-2606163 I am writing this from Mumbai regarding my landline at Tiruvalla, Kerala from BSNL. My mom is alone there. A complaint was sent two months back that the landline is not working. There was no response from anyone for nearly 1 1/2 months. I was there few weeks back and went personally to the BSNL office and complained again. The officer was giving some excuse for non redressal like there was some address confusion, etc. The house is just a stone's throw from the Tiruvalla office of BSNL! He has entered the complaint again in the register and it looked like it would be done pretty quick. After 2 weeks, one lineman came and disappeared. Nothing has happened till now. This is frustrating. Line is not working more than 2 months. Nothing seems to have changed in Kerala at least in terms of the functioning of the govt services. Things with MTNL in MUmbai has vastly changed since the past 5-7 years compared to what they were 10 years back. But BSNL Kerala lineman, etc are not willing to do anything i guess unless they palms are greased. They still live in the Public sector monopoly paradise which existed decades back!
