I tried to switchover to Vodafone through MNP from Tata Indicom and went to Shyambazar Vodafone Store [ 913325434758] on 2/4 and as guided by them, I sent necessary msg from my Tata phone. On 4/4, I filled up the form with all necessary documents from that Vodafone store and they issued me SIM card and told me that, within 7 days my Tata Indicom line would be deactivated and then I have to go for my suitable plan with Vodafone. As it was not disconnected, 1st I went to Tata Indicom Store and was informed that, new service provider has to sent sms to them for deactivation. Then I went again on that store on 21/04 and when enquired about this, casually they told they have missed to take proper step from their end and that's why line was not deactivated. Then they told me that, now they would take the necessary step. I then enquired 3 times and they told me 3 different stories each time. While enquired with Vodafone Customer Care, they informed me that system showing pending. After that when enquired again with that store, they simply told to start it again from the begining. These people are so casual and even did not get shame to telling such things to their customers and moreover, they forgot what stories they said earlier to the same customer. And their slogan is "Happy to help"!!!
