Airtel Mobile Prepaid Connection
Address verification

I have taken a prepaid mobile connection and the same has been in activation for about a month now. When taking the connection address prof and necessary identification proof with photograph was submitted; now:-

(a) After 10 days I receive a cal that this is a call from AIRTEL

office they again need a fresh set of the documents. I have

complied.

(b) I again get a call that this a call from AIRTEL and we need

to know your address.

(c) The question is how do I verify that the person on the other

end is genuine or not? Even if he is genuine can AIRTEL

guarantee his antecedants and good conduct? Mind you, he is

taking the address of a woman on tele. I'am forced because

otherwise the simple way of harassing is to disconnect the

facilities for which I have already paid. How safe are these

practices which the Company is practicing with scanty regard

to women's safety.
