I purchased a data card for internet connection But that is nt working yet, it didnt work for a single time

One of my dr. friend purchased a data card for internet connection in her laptop, from idea company, she purchased it for last 2 - 3 week ago. But this is not working, in fact it did not work for a single time. We complained that office for more then 5 times, but the didn't response to our complain, they raised their hand, please help us what to do now??
