Wrong information by company

I was active on a Idea gprs wap service called Simply enjoy 3 months ago, i wanted to switch to another plan, so i asked Customer care, whether i had to deactivate the old service to activate the new gprs service or just activate the new plan, the answer he gave me was " No need to deactivate the old service (Simply enjoy), the new plan (26 plan) will override the old service, so i did what he said. I'm facing the cosequences now, the have deducting Charges from my account for old plan and also the new plan, i'm disgusted with idea's sevice...:(((
