Scam Collections Call -- LYING, CHEATING

There is a scam going on right now in airtel to victimize and extract money from their customers.(I saw similar complaints in this forum itself).

I am a Airtel postpaid customer 9963833395 since 4 yrs. I am getting calls since March from ladies airtel collections staff (from 9989333961, 9989193883) that i need to pay for an unknown persons cancelled mobile unpaid dues of Rs 2000 .The lady was lying that my mob num was listed as as alernate num in that unknown persons records.

When I compalined to the Madras headquarters staff, they immediately checked the unknown person mob num details and CONFIRMED that my num is not at all listed as an alternate num in his records. They asked to file police complaint against these ladies as they are lying-- they are dealers and agencies.

Inspite of reassurance and confirmations, -- I am getting calls

again, from a diff num 9989194056 this time they are using foul, vulgar, filthy language for an hour.

This scam need to be exposed and innocent airtel customers protected.
