Sim card blocked without intimation

Hi,

My name is Sivanandh i was using Airtel no:9791183630 for more than a year suddenly on August 20th this no is been Blocked by Airtel when i called up the Customer service they said that this no is not used for more than 3 months so they blocked it is this a procedure to blocking a number without intimating the customer also they asked me to go to a showroom near by my area and enquire about it as per their advice i went their and asked them about the issue and they given me a Nodal officers number (9952434865) to contact he checked the database and after sometime he asked me to hand over the phonr to the Showroom executive and told him to re-activate the number and charge 175 Rs/-.as of my knowledge a duplicate Sim Costs Rs.25/- but here they charged 175Rs/- iam really fed up with the service for what i need to pay 175 Rs/-when the mistake is with Airtel side..please get me a solution for this also they are not in a position to give an ETA (estimated time for activation).kindly get back to my alternate no:9600086785 or mail me at sivanandh@gmail.com.
