Fake numbers in the bill

I got a Airtel bill my number - 9860318004 and surprisingly the numbers shown in the bill that they assume i called, Impossible as i was not even present in India when these calls were made. the fact of the matter is, this number was switched off, then how come the calls were made? How come airtel can chage this to my bill...? Please look into this matter as it may be another scandal in india.
