Complaint regarding improper charges at Public Booth

Sir,

I had made a tel. call [ from PUBLIC CALL OFFICE (HOWRAH REGN) GOPAL SHAW Tel. No. 28290682, Public Booth at HOWRAH ST-711101 ] to Mumbai 022 2522 1830 (R)

on 17-09 at about 1940 Hrs.

The Printer receipt given by the booth attendant had over-writing at the final billing figure and he charged me Rs. 19=00 (Rs. Nineteen only) for what was read as charges. I feel charges for 504 seconds i.e. 8.4 minites were very high. When I asked for second print out, the attendant said he cannot give and I have to pay Rs. 19=00. Since I was in hurry and there was no other mode indicated to me, whether charges were correct, I paid off.

I wish to know, whether the charges were correct, if not I wish to lodge official complaint against the booth owner, as it is cheating and fleecing, and is deficiency in service.

Pl convey the authority to whom complaint has to be made and how recovery of extra charges to be made.
