Landline phone not working & not getting internet speed as promised

Hi, I took the MTNL broadband connection with Landline on 25th April. I am facing problem with both Landline and Internet since I got the connection. I requested for MTNL broadband plan "Freedom 645 combo" which has 2 mbps speed upto 4GB and 512 kbps beyond 4GB but I am not getting more than 512kbps speed from the starting. Also there is a problem with the Landline, it was working only the first day I got the connection but from the second day onwards its gone dead. I talked to the MTNL Lineman, he explained me some technical issue with the connection and also said that he forwarded the complaint to his officials. I also talked to the officials, they are saying that they are not sure how much time it will take to resolve the problem. I am totally frustrated now don't know what to do.
