BELOW IS WHAT MY COMPLAINT WAS TO AIRTEL WHICH WAS LOGGED ON 09/01 AND ALSO THE RESPONSE THAT I GOT FROM THEM :-
Deduction of Amount from the Prepaid Account
Respected Sir/Mam,
My name is Manish Aggarwal and I am a Airtel prepaid connection user with Mobile # 9896123002 (Haryana Circle)... I have been using this Mobile Number for quite a long while now and had no major concerns in the past. But from past few months, almost every single day I am being charged for a service called (AIRTEL LIVE) which is offered by Airtel, for no reason. Despite of contacting Airtel Care END NUMBER of times and requesting them to deactivate this service on this Mobile Number, I am still being charged almost everyday for the same service which surprisingly I HAVE NEVER EVER USED... Every single time when I contact Airtel regarding the same I am being asked to delete some settings from the handset that I use, which unfortunately has NOT DONE any good. THE MOST SUPRISING PART IS THAT WHEN I ASK THE AIRTEL PEOPLE TO DEACTIVATE THIS SERVICE FROM THERE END, I AM TOLD THAT THIS SERVICE CANNOT BE DEACTIVATED FROM THERE END AS ACCORDING TO AIRTEL ONE WILL ONLY BE CHARGED WHEN HE USES THIS SERVICE WHICH IS VERY HUMILIATING AND DISGUSTING AS I HAVE NO PROOF THAT I DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE... I have escalated the issue end number of times in the Custmore Care Dept. but have never been provided with any permanent resolution to this. Every time it is a QUICK FIX that the Customare care dept. gives and few days down the line the same issue reoccurs (That the amount starts getting deducted from my account). Though I only use this Mobile Number as an alternate number as I am not currently residing in Haryana anymore, but still I will be using this number and would like to get this issue sorted out at the earliest as I have already paid A LOT to airtel for something that I've never used. Any assistance from your end would be greatly appriciated..Waiting for a positive response..

DEAR SIR/MAM,
DESPITE OF THE ASSURANCE FROM AIRTEL, TO MY UTTER SHOCK AND DISBELIEF THE AMOUNT IS STILL GETTING DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT ON ALMOST DAILY BASIS AND TODAY AIRTEL CROSSED ALL LIMITS BY DEDUCTING ALMOST RS 31 IN ONE SINGLE DAY FOR THE SAME SERVICE AIRTEL LIVE WHICH I HAVE NEVER EVER USED... JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH MY HANDSET, I USED A DIFFERENT HANDSET FOR FEW DAYS BUT THE AMOUNT KEPT ON DEDUCTING... THIS HAS REALLY CROSSED ALL THE LIMITS NOW AND I HAVE GIVEN ALLHOPES THAT I WOULD GET ANY RESOLUTION FROM AIRTEL AS THE ASSURANCE THAT WAS GIVEN EARLIER TO ME SEEMS TO BE A ABSOLUTE FAKE... I THINK THIS IS A NEW WAY AIRTEL HAS DISCOVERED TO CHUCK MONEY OUT FROM THE CONSUMERS... THIS IS INDEED VERY HUMILIATING AND SAD THAT THE MANAGEMENT IN AIRTEL IS HELPING AIRTEL LOOSE ITS (SO CALLED) BRAND IMAGE... WE HAVE ABOUT 8-10 AIRTEL CONNNECTIONS WITHIN THE FAMILY, AND THE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD BY NOW, I DONT THINK I WOULD EVEN WANT TO CONTINUE WITH AIRTEL ANYMORE... AND I'LL MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE AIRTEL CONNECTIONS THAT WE HAVE IN THE FAMILY ARE SWITCHED TO A DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDER AND WILL RECOMMEND THE SAME TO OHERS AIRTEL USERS AS WELL THAT I KNOW OFF... I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY CANT AIRTEL FIND A RESOLUTION TO A PROBLEM WHICH AN BE SORTED OUT FROM ONLY THERE END... ANYWAYS I THINK IT WOULD BE SENSELESS EXPECTING A RESOLUTION FROM AIRTEL'S END... THE REASON WHY I AM LOGING A COMPLAINT AGAIN IS THAT FOR ONCE, I WOULD WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE FROM AIRTEL WHO CAN LOOK INTO THE TRACK RECORD OF WHAT HAS HAPPENED, BEFORE I SWITCH OVER TO A DIFFERENT NETWORK... IT HAS NDEED BEEN A DISASTEROUS EXPERIENCE WITH AIRTEL FOR PAST FEW MONTHS AND I CANNOT BEAR IT ANYMORE... THANK YOU AIRTEL VERY VERY MUCH FOR THE HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE THAT YOU GAVE... I'LL MAKE SURE THAT I DO NOT FORGET THIS EXPERIENCE...
