Problems with SIM Card

Dear Sir,

My complaint is against Airtel. I have been using a Airtel Prepaid Mobile number since last few years. For the last 1 year or so the said number has been active on roaming in Assam. However since 23 Jan 12 the phone is showing 'No Service".

For resolving my problem, I have contacted Airtel CC on 98450 98450 on 23 Jan 12 and then emailed on Airtel CC 121@in.airtel.com on 28 Jan 12 and then again dated 30 Jan 12.

The same process seems to be endlessly followed. On my initial mail dated 28 Jan 12, I was asked to provide the undermentioned details which were provided in my mail to you dated 30 Jan 12. As a reply and solution to my problem of my SIM Card suddenly showing 'No Service' since 23 Jan 12, I was told to switch off and then switch on my phone!!! This is the solution provided to me after three mail and one complaint at the CC number!!! Either the CC Executive does not understand the language in which the communication happens, or they are least bothered as to what reply is being given to which query.

However I am again providing the details as asked for by in your mail dated 01 Feb:

Besides this I have already switched on and off my phone, have removed the SIM Card and replaced it and have even tried the SIM Card in another handset. None of the above steps have worked.

Request resolve the problem of the SIM Card not working. Would also expect to be compensated for the period of non usage between 23 Jan 12 till whenever the SIM Card is activated again.
