Want to convert from post to prepiad

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am having Airtel postpaid connection (9768125579), but now i would like to convert postpaid to prepaid as my usage are very low on airtel number.but when i visited the airtel outlet (gallery) they are not ready to take my request as this is a portable number. while doing porting i have asked the airtel customercare exceutive that after 90 days u can convert.but they are not doing.
