I am Airtel broadband customer for last 3 months. I have taken impatient 799 plan which has 5GB free usage. First month bill was fine. However for 2nd and 3rd month (April/May) I was charged 400-500 extra quoting that I had used more than 5GB. In fact based on the details in my bill I see that I wasn't even online when majority of the large downloads happened.
When I complained to Airtel, they promised to look into this. Yet after 1 week of so called "Investigation" they shamelessly sent an email to me indicating that I had used more than 5GB. This is a fraudulent company which doesn't care about its customers. Despite multiple calls/emails the issue is unresolved. I planning to take them to consumer court. Does someone have first hand experience in dealing with such bogus big brand companies?
