Change of address

Dear Sir,

I have Airtel Post paid No.9880371949 bought in Mangalore through Mr. Madhav (9945590739) who works in Air tel office, Paradigm Plaza, Near A.B Shetty Circle, Mangalore. The connection was previously in somebody else's name. When I approached the airtel office in Mangalore to change the connection in my name, they asked me to pay an amount of Rs.750/- which I paid on 21.08.08/Receipt No.1657 and provided all the necessary documents. Mr. Madhav assured me that he would get the NOC signed by the erstwhile customer and get it transferred in my name. As on today, i.e., 26th August this has not been done. I have been repeatedly calling him to do the necessary and transfer it in my name. Now, he has even stopped receiving my calls. As my phone bills are getting expensive, I can't even change the rate plan as the connection is not in my name. I don't want to change the no., as this number has been given to all my friends, relatives and business associates. It has become a big nuisance to me now. Kindly help.
