Missed Call

I got a call from number 923016942011 on 29th September at 15.32 hours India time. I didnt attend since it was an international unknown number and missed the call. I did a google search and found that code 9230 is Pakistan country code. I know nobody in Pakistan and I am not aware if any of my friends are also travelling there.

I was even more surprised to find that a lot of Airtel users have been receiving similar blanks calls.

Would like to know what is going on and why are so many people receiving such calls from Pakistan.
