I have 5 lines with Airtel and recently have recently been faced with excessive and wrong billing on one of my numbers which is 9818825700. Last month I have received a bill of about Rs 10, 000 while my credit limit is 5000. In the itemized report there are a lot of numbers including six and seven digit numbers that do not make any sense and a lot of other numbers with which I have had no communication whatsoever. Upon registering the complaint many days ago now I was passed from one executive to another and was then promised by an executive in billing complaints department called Sapna that the Rs 5000 will be refunded into my account and I will receive a text confirming the same. When no text was received we called up again and were told that the amount being refunded is 2000. Then I received a notification stating that Rs 500 have been credited to my account. After this notification we called up Customer Care and are again being transferred from one executive to another stating that there is no record of discussions relating to previous promises on refunds. Then again when we have asked to speak to Supervisors they disconnect the phone. The last person to do that introduced himself as Shanku

As a consumer this is absolutely terrible treatment where we have to spend unnecessary time trying to rectify mistakes and issues created by Airtel who we pay money to provide us with a service rather than hassle. I am extremely disappointed by the treatment given to what could be called a priority customer having transactions worth thousands every month across all lines I have with Airtel. I would really appreciate a speedy closure on my complaint and prevention of similar wrong billing issues in the future
