Unwanted SMS (Spam) even after registering DND

Even after repeated efforts, I am getting tons of unwanted SMS (Spam Ads). I registered with DND (Start 0), I even made many complaint calls to the Airtel customer care. Each time they give me a number and say it will take them 45 days to resolve it but even as of date I am getting many many spam ads. Once a lady even called to check up on the complaint to see if it was resolved and I clearly told it that it was NOT getting resolved. I even tried using the number screening facility on my mobile phone but even that list gets full and now I keep my mobile off and use it only for calling. I even tried visiting some Airtel offices (Shakarpur / Laxmi Nagar) and was told there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO about it and I just have to LIVE with it. I think this is not the right way to handle this.
