Fake calls on my airtel sim???

Sir,

i have recd a call on 24/10 from no 923477824466 .i tried checking up this code and the code correspond to pakistan in google. how come i am recieving a call (although i did not recieve as i was sleeping) from a country which i do not know anyone remotely or is it a fake call like calls from uk regarding promotion n stuff. airtel better wake up or else you would sure find no takers if people keep getting unsolicited calls from countries with which we have no connection.
