Cannot Migrate to Postpaid

Hi,

My airtel no 8179464296 is very old number and it is a prepaid and

when i wish to change it to postpaid, airtel relationship centre at Rajbhavan road, hyderabad, says that

still 8179 series postpaid has not been released.

Why and till what time i cannot migrate from prepaid to postpaid?
