Poor customer care!

Without my approval airtel changed my prepaid tariff scheme. I was now paying double for calls as well as sms's. On my calling them i was given the assuring that it would be taken care of in 48 hrs. Of course there was no change, on my calling them again i was told that there is ne such complaint and they would forward the present one etc etc. This went on for a week & 7 complaints, finally i lost my cool n asked to speak to their senior else i would go to consumer court.

it was finally taken care of after 7 days.

Is this the state of customer service centers with a company like airtel? While on the phone you are their most important customer and they understand everything you say. But after the phone call what? U are history. I am really upset by this shoddy behavior on their part and i think i will take it up with higher authorities soon.
