Promo calls even after DND registration

Hello

I had registered my telephone number 9535150505 for DND sometime in Apr. Subsequently, I kept on receiving promotional calls, complaints were raised with Airtel, and of course I would not know if some punishment was handed over to the concerned telemarketing company or not

Today Morning, I received a call at around 10:15 AM from HDFC (91 80 6712 8536) trying to sell me some insurance policy. (on Dec 4th, I received SMS from TA-BARKER at 18:52 hours trying to sell some DJ musical evening)

Does Airtel anyways care, about the privacy of their subscribers? Also, is it really worth to register for NDND?

I would expect Airtel to reply to this.
