Cheat!!!

I work in Ashok Leyland, I took a sim card with a number alloted for me from a sales person who visits my office regularly in my office CUG. I was offered that number and even after 3 days the mobile was not activated and when i asked Airtel Sales Man is saying me that the number is given to some one else and wants me to choose the number from the other list. I ask him to get me the same number, he doesnt even respond to my call.. He just cut the call!!! what the heck is this?

WHY should he cheat? I still have the simcard with the number he specified with me!! Shall I file a suite against this person for cheating me?

Is this the way Airtel trains their person? what a shame on Airtel a brand in india? If you cannot keep up your words why do you promise?
