Disconnection of service

Without informing me, they have disconnected my other number, even though I have paid all the bills on time. Contacting customer care, they informed me to go to the gallary. If the number is not issued to anyone else, they can issue it back to me. How come they can disconnect my mobile number? This is the worst kind of service I have come across any Service provider. I am totally disappointed with Airtel Mobile Service.
